Ft. Gordon Page

Ok, where do I start? Maybe the best thing is to jump right into it. There aren't to any good ways to introduce an Army base, but I'll try to keep positive. I am stationed at Ft. Gordon, GA for satellite communication training for my Air Guard Unit. After staying at many Air Force installations, I feel that maybe they have spoiled us a little in comparison to this place. To put it mildly, all common sense was trown out the window when the Air Force decided to move its school to this place. I am sure that some politician had something to do with this. Every little aspect to this place is below Air Force standards and they know it. Since we are in an Army base, the Air Force felt the pressure of the Army and they lowered their standards because of it. Anyway, you can judge by yourself after looking at the pictures. All I can do is take it a day at a time and wait until I get paroled.
